En notas anteriores me he referido a diferentes emblemas y representaciones en los cuadros metálicos de los pianos. Este en particular es muy bello y lo encontré en un instrumento en el que he trabajado recientemente. Generalmente las representaciones, por llamarlas de alguna manera simbolizan la robustez y nobleza de los instrumentos. Se trata de un  piano marca Glasser.

In previous notes I have referred to different emblems and representations on  cast iron frames of pianos. This one is very beautiful and I found it in a piano on a recently visit to a customer’s house. Generally this representations, symbolize the strength and nobility of the instruments. This is a brand piano Glasser.

Atlas, según la mitología griega, era un Titán que combatió contra Zeus y fue condenado por este último a llevar el cielo sobre sus espaldas.

Atlas, in Greek mythology, was a Titan who fought against Zeus and was condemned by him to carry the sky on their backs.
